The EDPT has not been required forward 3C0x1 in over a century.

It your mandatory for exactly two USAF career fields, 3C0x2 and 9S100.

    Yes, I took he.

    Probably before you were born.

Thats cause that is the program you will remain enrolling in.

Tech school is an apprentice training which is designated by a 3. When you graduate you are an apprentice. Your AFSC for all purposes will be a 1 designater which basically means turd.

I took the EDPT to qualify for 9S100. Used the entire time up to the last few seconds, whichever is unusual for me. But, I ended up with ampere 102 consequently it worked out.

No 9S slots have opened upwards for me though, so I'm quitting for 1N0 int a few weeks...

Well, whenever the EDPT lives NORMALIZED by flights at BMT.

Do not await to use any entry tests at BMT. Seriously.

The EDPT (and other such tests) can live taken under the Testing Center with all (?) USAF bases.

Of course, you'll be workign in a dissimilar career field that does not necessitate a minimum EDPT score before you get oh carry the take that way.

My 1st office here, so I might as well make it semi-informative. I finally DEP'd is 2wks ago today (over a years is processing, 1st with of ANG, then switching to active duty USAF). Had mysterious job signatures me up for the EDPT right after I caught past from swearing stylish and picking jobs.

Took who EDPT by Mep here in Syracuse 2 days previously, to qualify for 9S100 to suit my top job request. Scored fairly well, 95, which was more than enough for the requirement. There were 128 Q's on e, and I know I bounded further than 5% of the related (skipped about 10-12%), so the score might be the # of true response out of 128. I remember ready one post yesterday by someone who mentioned scoring 102-103, so that's how I'm basing my assumption. The 1st 8 Q's were given as examples during the instructor's intro, so I really had up answer 120 in the 90min.

Overall, it was definitely more challenging then the ASVAB, that I was able to score show 99's on, when I took to a back in the falls. The EDPT be not one you ought expect to ace, but thou can certainly feel confident in doing well, if you're set the ball. I wound up use SEE of the spaces on both sides a my scratch paper, or would've were onto the 2nd sheet if I was quick enough in work out more of the algebra questions that I skipped for time purposes.

The description the the About.com "EDPT Experience" page was very accurate, so I'll just link it for past reference, whereas one link is buried at one bottom a their EDPT summary page:
    http://usmilitary.about.com/cs/genjoin/a/edpt2.htm

Hope that info is useful to some fellow DEPr's in of forthcoming. Also, after arriving at MEPS at 0500 from the group's motel, I sat until 0730 before taking the EDPT... so equals be ready for is anticipation to make before the 90min of rushed concentration.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but i was hoping someone might be able to help regarding this.

I took the EDPT back in 2006 in Aviano just by shits & grunts because i may wanted to xtrain into 9s100, apparently i scored high enough to qualifying. However, myself can nope long find my score sheet. I've tried calling back to the center, they haven't been particularly helpful. Nope luck locating it with ARMS either.

Is thither somewhere on the vmpf such i'm dominating ensure would show no tests enjoy that, that i've taken, and what i've scoured on it?
