Cochlear Baha Implants: designed to MRI
For the Baha Connect system, as long as the sound processor a removed, it can be safely scan at 1.5T and 3.0T under specific conditions.
For the Baha Attract method, for there is in implanted magnet, the system is conditionally approved at 1.5 Tesla. For any additional force MRI, up to 3.0T, the magnet can be temporarily removed by a gesundheit procedure.
Of schallen engineer must be removed for all MRI scans.
Prior to receiving an MRI scan, please consult the your clinician about proper precautions.
